Stage and Sanctuary Music is owned and run by Graham Senior, a songwriter, composer and educator.

Graham taught Geography across Surrey and the West Midlands for thirty years, after getting a Postgraduate Certificate in Education from the University of Sussex in 1993. Now, he teaches Geography part-time at a local school and devotes his spare time to summer schools, writing educational resources and marking exam papers.

Graham has been teaching piano since the 1990s and has a 100% pass record for all the pupils he has entered for ABRSM exams during that time. Many students achieve Merit and Distinction in their examinations. Lessons are usually 30 minutes long and take place in a relaxed atmosphere in the Music Room at his home on a Yamaha Clavinova Digital Grand Piano.

Each pupil's programme of study is tailored to their needs and interest and regular feedback is provided to parents where appropriate.

Parents, guardians and/or carers are encouraged to stay with their children during lessons, especially for the first few lessons, but it is not a requirement.  Wi-Fi access can be facilitated for those wanting to catch up on their emails ... or you can just sit in the garden and appreciate the goldfish in the pond!

Graham holds a current DBS certificate which parents/guardians and pupils may see on request.

Graham is also a prolific songwriter, composer and arranger who has written worship music in a wide range of genres, from psalm chants to contemporary songs. He has also written several choral works, a pantomime and a musical, which have all been performed in churches in Surrey and the West Midlands. These include Risen (1989), Two Visions (1990), Cantata for Advent (1995), Jonah - The Boy Who Had A Whale of a Time (2000, with Sally Drury), and Distant Days (2007, with Jenny Eldridge).

Graham lives in Coventry with his wife, Rachel, and attends Meredith Road Baptist Church, where he is part of the worship team.
